Ashley Kevitt
Ashley Kevitt is a North Carolina native who earned her undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina Wilmington before heading north to attend New England School of Law in Boston. After graduating in 2013, she returned home to take and passed the North Carolina State Bar and has been serving clients around the Triangle area ever since. Over the course of more than ten years of practice, she has represented clients through some of the most personal and challenging moments of their lives.
Having started in estate planning and administration before fully focusing on family law, she brings a unique understanding of how to meet clients where they are with both legal skill and genuine compassion. What continues to draw Ashley to family law is the opportunity to guide people through transitions that start out feeling overwhelming and then come out on the other side with clarity and confidence. She finds deep fulfillment in the relationships she builds with her clients—getting to know them, understanding what matters most to them, and helping them see a path forward when everything feels uncertain.
Ashley is intentional about walking her clients through every step of the process, not just telling them what comes next but making sure they understand why it matters and how it connects to what they are trying to achieve. She listens carefully to her clients’ concerns and goals, and she is honest with them, even when the conversation is a difficult one. She believes that real advocacy means giving clients the full picture so they can make informed decisions, while working relentlessly behind the scenes to put them in the strongest position possible. Whether at the negotiation table or in the courtroom, her clients know exactly where they stand and that someone is in their corner fighting for them.
Ashley is an active member of the North Carolina State Bar, the Wake County Bar Association, and the Family Law Section of the North Carolina Bar Association. She is committed to staying engaged with the legal community and continuing to grow as an advocate for the families she represents.
Outside of the office, Ashley is an avid traveler who will always say yes to a trip to the Pacific Northwest. At home, she spends her time with her two dogs, a pug and a lab mix, who keep her happily busy when she’s not in the courtroom.
