Alexander French
Attorney Alexander “Alex” French is a triple Tar Heel, having received his Bachelor of Arts in History and Master of Arts in Teaching from the UNC-Chapel Hill, as well as receiving his Juris Doctorate from the UNC School of Law.
Alex enjoys the variety that comes with practicing family law, and especially thrives in cases involving diverse legal issues that touch on other areas of law, including issues that involve corporate law, criminal law, contracts, secured transactions, and real property.
Alex loves the fact that family law is so engaging. “The issues in family law deal with the most intimate subjects, relationships, and obligations, and how they are supported and enforced by state and federal authority.” My cases deal with the most important things to my clients, their assets, their children, and their future.
Mr. French always cautions his clients to expect the process to be long and uncomfortable, but in the end, they will be happier, and their life will be more stable. He also tells them that they should expect that he will always tell them the truth, but not always what they want to hear. “My clients can expect that I will try to understand their values and to pursue a resolution to their case that aligns with those values.”
Mr. French is married with 2 children. His personal family experiences as a son, sibling, and a husband with 2 children have greatly impacted his legal work with other parents and families. “I love practicing family law,” he said. “I like my clients. I love learning about their lives. I love assisting them with their important life transitions.”
Alex lives near Pittsboro, North Carolina, just south of Chapel Hill. He can be found most weekends around Jordan Lake with his family and dogs.
The reviews from previous clients on his Avvo profile speak for themselves! Attorney Alex is also known to be very attentive and responsive to questions posted on the site.
