Growing up an Air Force dependent, Mary has lived in various places in the USA and around the world. Eventually, the family settled in Fayetteville, NC where Mary finished high school and went on to graduate from East Carolina University with a degree in history and anthropology. Mary worked in broadcasting for several years before leaving the work force to raise her family. When the children reached high school and college age, Mary decided to return to school herself and entered the Paralegal Program at Meredith College. Upon completion, she returned to the work force with Haas, McNeil and Associates, P.A.
Away from the office, Mary enjoys time with her children, various home improvement projects, and running most mornings with her German Shepherd, Hank. She also enjoys weekends at the beach when time permits and other travel destinations.
